Shabbir Rudro

Hi, I am Rudro. I co-founded Tetra to help marginalized communities in the salinity-affected coastal regions in Bangladesh and designed a household water desalination device. With my cofounding colleagues, I secured critical funding, ran awareness campaigns, and built partnerships to grow our company. Today, I oversee the RnD and testing of community-based water purification plants, working to empower people in the regions burdened by harmful water. My mission is simple — build scalable water purification products and services, and transforming the lives of 1 million affected people by 2035.

I also graduated with a masters in Automotive Engineering from RWTH Aachen University in Germany. For my final thesis, I worked at the Institute for Automotive Engineering at the university with a focus on automated driving.

During my bachelors in Mechanical Engineering at BUET, I also actively participated in technical projects and voluntary activities on and off campus.
